Review of Environmental Factors (REF)

In New South Wales, environmental assessments ensure that development and infrastructure projects are planned responsibly and in accordance with environmental legislation. A Review of Environmental Factors (REF) is prepared for activities assessed under Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, evaluating potential impacts on land, water, heritage, flora, fauna, and the community.

Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE)

A Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE) supports development applications under Part 4 of the Act, outlining how a proposal complies with planning controls and how environmental impacts will be mitigated.

Environmental Assessment and Planning

We provide Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for residential, commercial and industrial development projects.

EMPs are a legislated requirement of most projects and outlines how potential impact the local environment and actions to minimise or remove these risks.

Soil, water, contamination, waste, soil, and groundwater are just some of the areas that must be appropriately managed and monitored to meet legislated requirements.

Our principal consultant is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) Site Contamination (SC) Specialist, joining only a handful of regionally based industry professionals to hold this certification. Key staff are also Certified Professional Soil Scientists (CPSS) meaning we have a high-level professional competence in soil science and management, derived from a broad soil science knowledge base.

Our environmental management plans ensure that your development meets regulatory and statutory approvals.
