OUR qualifications and industry certifications have led to our proven track record in SOUTHERN INLAND NSW based on technical leadership and building long term client relationships.

1998 - Established in Wagga Wagga NSW

Since our inception, McMahon Earth Science has provided technical leadership to meet the growing demands of industry, innovation and customer expectations. Servicing clients in Southern Inland NSW, our qualifications and industry certifications enables us to work in the areas of government, private industry, environment, agriculture and development. Our reputation for groundbreaking innovation and a safety-first approach has seen us complete many minor and major projects in the environmental and geotechnical fields.

2012 - Acquired CPN Hurst and obtained NATA accreditation

In 2012, our company acquired CPN Hurst which included transitioning a NATA accredited laboratory and associated civil and geotechnical services into our organisation. This has enabled us to offer a more comprehensive suite of services to ensure a competitive advantage when completing your projects.

Achievements

We are proud of our achievements, winning prestigious awards including the Sir Thomas Mitchell Award and the JK Barrie Award for our soil and landscape mapping and assessment work.

We have have also completed arguably the largest intensive soil survey in Australia of the Coleambally Irrigation Area, with a project spanning 8 years and covering 110,000 hectares.

Our qualified staff are Certified Professional Soil Scientists (CPSS) meaning we have a high-level professional competence in soil science and management, derived from a broad soil science knowledge base.

Our principal consultant is also a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) Site Contamination (SC) Specialist, joining only a handful of regionally based industry professionals to hold this certification.
